One teenage student has died and three others were injured during a school shooting south of Spokane, Washington on Wednesday, Sept. 14.
Guest speakers and protests on college campuses around the country have grown in intensity as of late, and now colleges such as UC Berkeley are worried that campus security arrangements could force that violence out into the city streets.
September is designated as the official “Campus Fire Safety Month,” as August and September are typically the worst time of the school year for fatal campus-related housing fires.
