Security technology companies OpenEye and CENTEGIX announced a cloud-to-cloud integration connecting security camera feeds directly to emergency alert platforms during active incidents.
The system links OpenEye Web Services with the CENTEGIX Safety Platform. When a staff member activates a wearable panic button, nearby video camera feeds automatically display within the alert interface, eliminating the need for security teams and first responders to search through camera networks manually during a crisis.
The School District of Manatee County in Florida is among the initial adopters of the integrated technology. District leaders noted that having immediate visual context alongside location mapping allows dispatchers and responders to assess situations in real time rather than relying on security footage strictly for post-incident review.
In addition to real-time response capabilities, the system pairs alert log data with recorded footage to streamline post-incident investigations and support compliance with state and local safety regulations, including Alyssa's Law mandates.
