A student was killed on Wed., Sept. 1, in a shooting at a high school in Winston-Salem, N.C. There were no other reported injuries, and the suspect has been taken into custody, say authorities.

The Guardian Indoor Active Shooter Detection System can both detect gunshots within a space and immediately broadcast an emergency notification to the building’s occupants through multiple media including audio broadcast systems, desktop alerts, digital signs, mobile devices, and email.
