Centegix Expands School Safety Platform Following Brand Integration

The safety tech provider has consolidated its emergency response and daily school management tools under a single platform.

Safety technology provider Centegix has expanded its Safety Platform, uniting its emergency response capabilities with daily operational management tools following its acquisition of Pikmykid.

The consolidated software portfolio provides K-12 school districts with centralized oversight across daily campus routines and emergency protocols. The updated suite includes capabilities for visitor management, student attendance tracking, digital hall passes, dismissal coordination, messaging, wearable staff alert devices, digital mapping, alert-activated video feed integration, emergency response tracking and student reunification.

Company leadership noted that school security requires continuous operational management rather than focusing solely on critical incident response. By combining routine tasks such as student drop-off and hallway movement with crisis alert mechanisms, the single-platform model aims to increase situational awareness and streamline coordination for campus staff.

The operational consolidation is supported by a redesigned digital interface intended to help district administrators evaluate safety infrastructure based on specific operational and emergency response requirements.
