Physical security provider Rhombus has integrated its cloud platform with wearable panic button maker CENTEGIX to automate real-time video coverage and access control during campus emergencies.
The system connects CENTEGIX’s CrisisAlert badges directly to the Rhombus Console. When a staff member activates a badge, the platform automatically pulls up live video feeds from the precise room or floor location of the alert.
Beyond live visual monitoring, the integration allows school and facility administrators to set up automated emergency protocols. Activating a badge can instantly trigger door locks via Rhombus Access Control while simultaneously launching campuswide sensory alerts, such as strobes and intercom announcements.
The collaboration adds Rhombus to the CENTEGIX Platform Partner Program, an ecosystem of integrated safety tools currently used across more than 18,000 locations nationwide. The integrated feature is accessible directly through the Rhombus Console for existing users.
