The Snoqualmie Valley School District has partnered with Honeywell to integrate security and facility operations across its 13 campuses into a unified automated control center.
The district will implement an enterprise building integrator platform to manage 11 schools and two support facilities through a single digital dashboard. The system is designed to streamline oversight of access control, video surveillance, fire life safety monitoring and HVAC management.
District officials said the transition to a centralized platform allows for heightened situational awareness for more than 7,500 students and faculty. By uniting these various inputs, the district can monitor live video and automate emergency responses from a single interface rather than managing siloed systems.
The upgraded solution includes a command-and-control suite that utilizes map-driven displays. During an emergency, these displays provide staff with immediate on-screen access to integrated security footage and vital building data.
The system also features digital video management, which connects Internet Protocol cameras and video analytics with the district's physical access control. This integration allows the district to automate security protocols and analyze real-time data while meeting current cybersecurity standards.
