Altronix Brings Power, Data Transmission Solutions to ISC East

The Brooklyn, N.Y.,-based Altronix Corporation, which designs and manufactures low voltage electronics for video surveillance, security, fire, access control and automation markets, has brought its latest round of new products to the ISC East Expo in New York City. Altronix will be showcasing its products at Booth 936 from Nov. 17–18. A news release states that the solutions will provide system designers and installers with increased versatility to help improve situational awareness and futureproof installations.

“We are pleased to be back exhibiting at ISC East, showcasing some of our latest power and data transmission solutions, and to re-engage with our security colleagues in attendance,” said Alan Forman, President, Altronix Corporation. “As the industry continues to struggle with myriad challenges, rest assured knowing that Altronix is stronger than ever and maintaining our highest level of customer support.”

Products on display include:

  • NetWay products that accommodate 802.3bt PoE cameras, illuminators, locking devices and LED lighting. IEEE 802.3bt compliant midspans and hardened PoE switches can offer up to 90W per port and accommodate fiber or structured cables. They’re available as single or multi-port configurations and can be used indoors or outdoors.
  • NetWay series adapters can enable two devices over a single structured cable. The NetWay 2012P offers PoE+ (30W) and 12VDC concurrently, while NetWay2ES offers 2-PoE+ ports (60W) to power external microphones, IP cameras, IR illuminators and more.
  • The Altronix PACE1KRT Single Pair Ethernet Adapter Kit is designed for hard-to-reach installations and can transmit power and data over twisted pair at a distance of up to 1,000 meters. The product is ideal for settings like elevators and remote industrial applications.
  • The rack mount NAC Power Extenders can increase fire signaling capacity while taking up less space if wall space is limited or unavailable.
