The Texas Public Charter Schools Association named iSchool High at University Park Campus Director Bradley Sharp its Principal of the Year during an annual conference gathering charter school leaders from across the state.
The honor highlights Sharp's work steering an early college high school model operating in partnership with Lone Star College–University Park. The cooperative program enables high school students to work toward higher education credits concurrently with their secondary diplomas.
Under Sharp's management, the campus has maintained an academic environment focused on college preparation, ambitious goal-setting and post-secondary achievement. School system leadership credited his campus stewardship with fostering strong community engagement and structured student support frameworks.
The award presentation took place during the Texas Public Charter Schools Conference, an annual summit focused on educational best practices, leadership development and student achievement strategies.
