CLPS and Coram Partner on School Visitor Security Technology
A new partnership integrates digital guest screening with emergency alert systems and risk audits to improve K-12 campus safety.

Security technology providers CLPS and Coram have formed a strategic alliance to integrate digital guest management tools into K-12 school safety programs.
The collaboration links Coram’s visitor check-in software directly into the broader emergency communication systems, risk assessment protocols and incident response frameworks offered by CLPS.
The integrated visitor system screens guests against 650 million national records, including criminal repositories and sex offender registries across all 50 states. Operating on a three-layer check covering identity verification and background records, the software functions offline to process initial check-ins and retroactively flag criminal matches once internet connectivity restores. The platform also discards birthdates after initial processing and hashes document numbers to comply with privacy standards.
The software integration joins existing emergency management tools, including wearable panic buttons, anonymous student safety reporting platforms and behavioral threat assessment frameworks modeled on state guidelines.
The combined system aims to assist school administrators in establishing standardized protocols for visitor tracking, physical security audits and post-incident reunification planning while meeting state compliance mandates.
