Phoenix Union High School District Adds Wearable Emergency Badges Districtwide
The district will provide CrisisAlert devices to approximately 3,000 employees working across its 24 campuses and locations.

Phoenix Union High School District is planning a districtwide deployment of CENTEGIX CrisisAlert wearable badges for educators and other employees.
Because the badge is worn, employees can seek assistance away from wall-mounted alarm equipment and without opening software on a phone. CENTEGIX said activation data identify the badge user and location for responders selected by the district. Certain employees will also be able to issue an alert across a campus.
The planned uses range from behavioral incidents and student altercations to medical situations and emergencies requiring a campus-level response.
Training will continue after implementation, with badge use incorporated into the district's established safety and emergency protocols.
