Technology-Focused Grant Available for K–12 Schools

Consolidated Communications is offering an educational grant for technology-focused initiatives in K–12 schools. The deadline to apply through the Consolidated Connects grant program, which offers grants of up to $5,000 for schools within its service area of 23 states, is Monday, Nov. 1, 2021.

Consolidated Communications is a top-10 fiber provider whose mission, according to a press release, is “to turn technology into solutions and to connect people and enrich how they work and live.” The company remains committed to encouraging project-based learning and integrating broadband services. Grants can be given for both new and existing programs.

“Broadband and technology are essential to everything we are a part of, today and in the future,” said Jennifer Spaude, senior vice president, Corporate Communications and Investor Relations at Consolidated Communications. “The Consolidated Connects Educational Grant Program helps students develop 21st-century and critical thinking skills, two crucial components of their academic success.”

Consolidated Connects aims to provide grants that benefit educational enrichment programs, as well as projects that focus on creative student learning and that use innovative technology to support and advance education.
