Police responded on the afternoon of Monday, June 7, to the incident outside Eastern Hills High School. A 16-year-old boy had been shot in the neck and was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital in critical condition. A police incident report states that a 911 caller said the shooter drove away. Police said that there were cameras in the area. According to local ABC affiliate WFAA, a school employee who declined to be identified said that he pulled into the parking lot to see two teenagers fighting over a gun.
