Preparedness in Action: It Can Happen Here—Crafting Video to Create Realistic Emergency Training Exercises

Thursday November 20, 2025 at 12 noon ET / 11:00am CT / 9:00am PT

This session offers school systems and business training specialists a valuable opportunity to learn how to design realistic emergency tabletop scenarios for critical situations like natural disasters, active assailants, and other crises. Participants will learn to edit and ethically use their organization’s camera footage to highlight the urgency and complexity of these events. Interactive videos will showcase the swift, confident decision-making required during emergencies. Case studies will address common vulnerabilities, such as unsecured entrances, communication breakdowns, and indecision. Recorded drills allow participants to assess performance and identify areas for improvement. Constructive feedback will foster discussions on growth opportunities, while role-playing activities will enhance leadership cohesion. Strengthen your training programs and create a safer environment!
