The 2024 School Violence Protection Program

The Department of Justice now has additional safety and security tools for campuses nationwide. This grant program is part of Congress passage of The Students, Teachers and Officers Preventing (STOP) School Violence Act. Grants up to $500,000 are possible and can be used for law enforcement coordination, training, security hardware such as metal detectors, locks and lighting. Money can be used for technology to expedited notification of local law enforcement during an emergency.
