Campuses put much thought and time into their emergency response planning and lock-down procedures, but without the right mind set and situational awareness these plans can be ineffective. This session will address the importance of maintaining trained response to a crisis or a violent situation where lock-down procedures, as well as emphasis building confidence in the campus environment with staff and students. You also will learn about the importance of working together with local law enforcement and using effective strategies in preventing campus violence.
