ZeroEyes, creators of the only AI-based gun detection video analytics platform that holds the US Department of Homeland Security SAFETY Act Designation, today announced a strategic partnership with Texas’ Region 13 Education Service Center, which serves as a liaison between the Texas Education Agency and the local school districts.
The Justice Department announced today the release of a report on its critical incident review of the law enforcement response to the tragic school shooting at Robb Elementary School. Attorney General Merrick B. Garland announced the review shortly after the tragedy on May 24, 2022, in which 19 children and two teachers died at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. The report provides a thorough description of the critical incident review that has taken place over the past 20 months.
In a leap toward modernizing campus access, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) is set to officially launch mobile credentials. This initiative marks a transformative shift, allowing students, faculty and staff to seamlessly access campus facilities, pay for dining and retail items, open doors and complete transactions, replacing the traditional plastic ID cards.
Dan Marburger, Perry High School principal who was critically injured during a shooting on Jan. 4 has passed away. That’s according to The Associated Press.
Classes have been canceled at Perry High School, Iowa, as well as students dismissed from other K-12 facilities after an armed attacker opened fire inside a rural Iowa high school on the first day back from winter break Thursday morning. At least one student is reportedly dead from the shooting.

The North Syracuse Central School District (NSCSD), a K-12 public school district in Central New York state, serves the communities of North Syracuse, Clay, Cicero, Bridgeport, and Mattydale. With 11 elementary, middle, and high schools, the district covers almost 90 square miles and has 7,792 students and approximately 700 teachers. With some of its school buildings over 60 years old, the district needed to renovate many of them, some more urgently than others.
