Lake Central Technology Director Rick Moreno said that even with more than 300 cameras in place at the high school, there are still places inside and outside the campus where 100 to 150 cameras could be added.

The door locks are simple to use. A pin at the door’s base slides into a hole in the floor, barricading the door from being opened. When activated, the door lock sends an emergency alert to local law enforcement.

Jones Elementary School now has a locked entryway that serves as a secure room for visitors to campus looking to be buzzed into the school. The entryway is locked off from the school itself.
